EmployNV is the official statewide public workforce system for Nevada, featuring an online job portal and physical local centers that provide no-cost career, training, and recruitment services. It is managed by the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) alongside local workforce boards.


Elko Band Council

The Elko Colony is one of the four separate colonies that comprise the Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone Indians. Representatives of the Central Pacific Railroad founded the town of Elko, Nevada, in 1868. Many Shoshone families began camping nearby and working at mining and railroad jobs in the community. for almost half a century, they lived in a series of camps in the Elko area. 


Equinox Gold – South Railroad Mine

Equinox Gold recently acquired Orla Mining, creating North America’s new senior gold producer. Equinox Gold’s business is anchored by three Canadian mines, with additional production in the USA, Mexico and Nicaragua.

The South Railroad Mine is a construction-ready, open-pit heap leach project in the world-class Carlin Trend. A 2026 feasibility study completed by Orla Mining outlined a strong production profile and robust margins, with 130,000 ounces of average annual production over the first five years at an average AISC of approximately $1,500/oz, and mroe than 100,000 ounces per year over an initial 10-year mine life.

Robinson Nevada Mining Company

The Robinson Mine is located in White Pine County, Nevada, at an average altitude of 2,130 metres above sea level. The mine includes three open pits: Ruth, Liberty and Tripp-Veteran. Mining is conducted by conventional open-pit methods. It comprises extraction using blasting materials, ore loading and transport to a processing plant. The ore is crushed and ground, and then subjected to flotation process. Produced concentrate is thickened and filtered.


Shoshone-Paiute Tribes

The Duck Valley Indian Reservation is situated in a beautiful, green valley on the Nevada and Idaho border. Established by Executive order on April 16, 1877, the site for this reservation was selected by Captain Sam, a Shoshone leader who felt that the plentiful wild game, anadromous fish, wild berries, abundant water and the fertile valley soil held a promising future for our people.
